A Three-Pronged To-Do List

After revisiting the “e-myth” in “The E-Myth Revisited” (a valuable read from Michael Gerber) and taking a close look at my own daily business habits, I decided to revise my To-Do list. I decided that I needed to ensure that I was creating balance between my internal entrepreneur, manager, and technician.

Here is your copy of this To-Do list. You’ll notice that it has three daily tasks for each persona (or personality, or whatever you want to call the different personas). I recommend planning at least two tasks per day for each persona, and not having any persona monopolizing any more than three daily tasks. This will avoid the problem many small business people face – of focusing too much on one persona’s type of work.

Often, the technician can take the largest share of the pie, and you end up all day working in your business – not on your business. Your business needs balanced effort from you. Please use this To-Do sheet to help you maintain the balance and build a strong business.
